Ai^tumn Show; Judging It will he remembered that following upon the severe frost which practjoajly destroyed all hopes of orchardists marketing their usup-l crops of fruit, it was suggested that they should put jn emergency crops to help tide them over, aud iu this connection the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society instituted a class for puch crops in the autumn show. This has now been judged by Mr N. J. Adamson, th© Government Orchard Instructor, and the following ar© the awards. — P. T. Smith, Mangateretere, 1; Arch Lowe, Sunnybank, Hastings, and Roherfc Hall, Millers road, Hastings, 2nd equal.
