High Registration Fee Leads to 1250 Killings VICTORIAN METHOD (Received 16, 8.45 a.m.) MELBOTJRNE, March 15. The Victorian Government, aiming to abolish Alsatian dogs, fixed th© registration at £2 15/- for each dog annually, with a heavy fine for possessing unregfistered Alsatians. The number so destroyed in a few weeks is 1250 and it is expected that hundreds more will die by the end of th© week.
