Mutton market : Wethers steady, with fair demand Ewc« firmer on the short supplies. Beef market : Frozen beef stocks very light, with prices steady. Chill#?. beef market over-supplied, with lower' prices. New Zealand porker pigjs: Weaker, with trade slow. New Zealand baconer pigs; Firmer on the better bacon prices. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board advises that the following are the approximate average prices realised for the week, based on actual transactions of wholesale qualities of the descripitions of meat mentioned and are for representative paroels of the goods offering during the week, being for business done on the basis of " delivered to Smithfield market and/or ex London stores (prices fqr the two previous weeks are also shown):— I New Zealand sheep: Crossbred wethers and/or maiden ewes, 48lb. and under, 5 5-8d (same); 49lb. to 56lb. 5Jd.
