Two Men Injured on Hutt Road

| WELLINGTON, Laat Nlght, I 1 Two people were taken to the hoa-i jpital to-night suSering from injuries j received in an accident on the Hntt road in which three motor vehicles were involved, The craeh occurred about a mile north of Ngahauranga ehortly lafter 9 p.m, The injured were: — E, P. Simmester, manufacturers reipresentative, of Wellington, injury .to jback and right arm, slight concussion land shock. J. Scorringe, slaughterxoan, Petone, iabrasions to face, injury to back, con'cussion and shock. A light coupe motor-ear driven by l Simmester which had got into difficuljties and come to rest with two wheels, jin the ditch on the wrong side of the: iroad was being pulled out by a motor lorry driven by Scorringe, when the | accident occurred. The lorry was just heading for the centre of the road when a third vehicle driven by A. C. Clark, of Lower Hutt, travelling ,toward the Hutt Valley coilided with the front of the lorry. Clark eseaped injury, but both Simmester and Scorringe were picked up from the roadway suffering' from injuries. The Pree Ambulauce vehicle was following Clark 's car so that the injured. were given instant attention. All three' vehicles were more or lees extensivelyi damaged.
