Miss Daisy Hill, Taupo, is Bpending a short holiday in Napier. Mrs. Bloomfield aird Miss B. Bloomfield, Poverty Bay, are the guests of Mr. Dudley Hill, Fernhill. Misses J. Francis, P. Koopu, G. Gray, J. Harrison, C. Petrie and L. Riddick have joined the nursing staff of the Napier Public Hospital as trainees. Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Lowry, "Oreka," Hastings, and Mr. and Mrs.. E. M. Nelson, "Paretai," Mangateretere, leave on Friday to spend a holiday in Sydney". Mr. and Mrs. C. D. White, Komako, Ashhurst, who have beeu the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. White, Charles Streeet, Hastings, for the past week, left yesterday by car for Waipukurau and will later motor to Auckland. Miss Dorothy Mulgrove, who has tcen visiting her parents in Hastings, left- for sMelbourne to-day. Mr and Mrs Mulgrove accompany their daughter to Wellington.
