Struck by Motor Cycle in Cm'istchurch FIVE OTHER ACCIDENTS

UHRXSTUHURCli, Tfixs Day. Accidents in and near the city during the week-end resulted in the death of a woman and in five other persons being admitted to hospital with injuries. The womna killed was Mrs Annie Bartlett, a widow, aged 81 years, who lived at 310 Stanmore road. She was struck by a motor cyclist, William Diehl, after she had stepped from a motor car and was walking across Stanmore road. Mrs Bartlett was thrown to the ground and was dead when the ambulance arrived. Mr Diehl was tossed from his machine and suffered concussxon. He was admitted to hospital but his condition is not serious.
