BUFFET DINNER—PRELUDE TO NAPIER BRIDGE EVENING
Prior to a bridge evening, Mrs Eric Rickard, Thompson road, Napier, entortained her guests to a delightful buifet dinner, when charming squat bowls of grapes made an effective buffet decoration. Mrs Rickard, received in a smart model gown of rich brown lace relieved with white moire lapels on the lace coatee. There were present: Mesdames S. Scoular, H! E. Troutbeck, H. Humphries, F. N. Fussell, D. Bfiiley (New Plymouth), F. N. Harvey, W. G. Wood, J. Mason, Y. W. Cok, A. Hetley, R. T. St. Lawrence, T, Gilray and E. I. Sutton, Misses O. Smith and H.' Bernau
