Mr H. M Christie, M.P. for Waipawa, returned to Wellington by train on Saturday. T)r. E. C. ti. Clay, who has been spending a short holiday in Waipukurau, haa retarned to Wellington. Miss M. Ryan has returned to Wellington after spending a slxort lioliday with Mr and Mrs G. E. Fowler, Waipukurau. A team from the Wairoa Ladies' Croquet Club, Mesdames Perry, W. Crarer, W. H. Brady and Kendrew, left to-day to take part in the play at Gisborne on the 16th and two following days for the Cox Challenge Cup.
