MR PAUL ELMER MORE

NEW YORK, Mareh 11. The death has oceurred at Princeton, New Jersey, of Mr Paul Elmer More, cditor and author. Mr Paul Elmer More was born at _St. Louis in December, 1864, gradualing at Washington TJniversity in 1887 and at Harvard in 1893. He was suecessively literary editor of the "Nation," the "Independent" and the "New York Evening Post," and was editor of the "Nation" in 1909-14. He was a member of the American Aeademy of Arts and Letters and of the American Philological Association, ancl in 1931 was awarded the degree of LL.D. by the University of Glasgow. Ho had written many books of a scholarly nature.
