Tournament For Dewar Polo Cup HAWKE'S BAY BEATEN The Hawke's Bay Polo Club's annual yankee tournament concluded yesterday at the Hastings Raeecourse, and there waS" a blg attendance for the final series of games. The Dewar Cup for the senior open event was won by Wallingford, who inflicted a big defeat on Hawke's Bay, the hitherto unbeaten side and on a count back of the goals Wallingford were deelared the winners. Ia the eenior handicap event the winners were East Coast, and in the junior division Haumoana won the open and Atua the handicap. The results of yesterday's games *re w follow : — SENIOR GRADE. 'Handicap Event. Waipawa (14J beat Rangitikei A (6)« 16—13. East Coast (10) beat Masterton (14) 11 — 16. Wallingford (3) beat Hawke's Bay fscr), 9—1. OPEN EVENT. Rangitikei A beat Waipawa, 7—1. East Coast beat Masterton 7—2. Wallingford beat Hawke's Bay 6 — 1. JTJNIOR DIVISION. Handicap Event. Atua (7) beat Whareama (7) 12—8. Rangitikei B (5) drew with Taihape j*S) 8-8. Atua (7) beat Haumoana (ecr) 9 2. Whareama (7) beat Taihape (8) 12— 11. ■ TTawfcmg* (6) beat Waimarama (14), 35 — 14. Open Event. Atga beat Whareama 6—1. Rangitikei B beat Taihape 3 — 0.
