The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Ruataniwha Lodge of Past Grands (M.T7.I.O.O.F.) was held in the Lodge Hall at Tikokino last evening, there being a very fair attendance of members. The president, P.G. Bro. A. P. Kerr was in the chair, and was supported hy the Immediate Past President, P.G. Bro. A. O. Bliss, and the Deputy President, P.G. Bro. A. B. Rumball. P.G. Bro. R. Kirk was invested with his Past Officers' degree and duly initiated as a member of the Lodge. The evening was given over to a consideration of the business on. tlie agemda paper for the District Conference to be held at Waipukurau on Wednesday Ma'rch 17, aiter which P.D. G.M. Bro. E. C. Hurdesfield gave a very interesting and instructive address on the Emblems of tbe Manchester XJnity Order. At the conclusion oi his address Bro. Hurdesfield was heartily congratulated on the very able manner in which he had dealt with his subject. At ihe conclusion of the meeting supper was provided by memhers of the Loyal Ruahine Lodge. •
