PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Mrs T. McKee, of Omana settlement, Nuhaka, has left on a visit to her parents in Ireland, and anticipates being away for a year. Mrs Prior, sen., of Queen street, Wairoa, has gone to Hastings on a visit to her daugkter, Mrs E. Doak. Mr T. L. Dillon, fornlerly of the Wairoa post-office staff, and1 now postmaster at Waikari, South Island, has been transferred to Christchurch. Mr K. Coker, one of the members of the Wairoa Municipal Band, was tendered a farewell at the bandroom on Thursday evening, on the eve of his departnre for Auckland. He was the recipient of a silver cigarette case. Mr Raymond Coe, who has been on the staff of the Empire Hotel, Waipawa, for sorne years leaves this weekend to take up an appointment in Hastings. He has been an active member of the W aipawa Bowling- Club and the Waipawa Golf Club and he will be greatly missed in these circles. Mr C. G. E. Harker has returned to Waipawa from Wellington, where he attended a meeting of representatives of the iNational Party. MrB 1). P. McLean, who has o'uly recently returned to New Zealand after visiting the Homeland, is now back in Waipawa
