"ZEIGFELD" — SATURDAY "The Great Ziegfeld" comes to tln Regent Theatre to-night. Not only does it contain mu6M cal spectacles of the best quality but, in a story suggested by the life of the one and only Ziegfeld, it presents drama that will draw tears to the eyei of the most blase theatregoer. Topping this 5-ring circus of entertainment are found William Powell in th« role of Ziegfeld, Myra Loy as Billie Burke and Luise Rainer as Anna Held. Without contradiction, Powell does the finest work of his career as the great glorifier of beauty. For her rola of Anna Held Luise Rainer won tho acting award for this year and Myra Loy as the lovely Billie Burke is at her lovliest. The drama alone could well be classed as one of the best of the screen, but this picture does not stop with drama. It has music and beautiful girls presented in the most spectacular fashion in the many amazing numbers. Some of the tunes wera made famous in Ziegfeld stage shows, and othe'rs, particularly "You," werS written originally for this extravaganza. Reservations hy phone must ba claimed by 7.45 p.m.
