AUCKLAND, Last Night, The executivq's report dealing with the registration qf trade namea was copsidered by the Auckland Chamher of Commerce to-day. The report recommended that the onus of determining who were proprietors of a business phould not on the creditor. but on the debtor, and that some eystem of tegistration should be adopted requiring all businesses other than registered companies to djsclose the namc of the proprietqr. It is urged that it should be compulsory for : (a) every business house whose trade name did not disclos© the names of the proprietors to shpw on tbe premises, letterheads and other printed matter, the names of the proprietors; and (b) any alteration8 in qwnership or proprietorship to be notified to the registrar and all creditors. The report was adopted for reterence to the Associated Chamher of Comjnerce.
