East and North-east distriet for the 24 hours from 9 a.xn. to-davt — General inference: Another of the present series of depressioiis is crossing the Dominion but the anticyclone which has been stationary over Tasmaaia is now nioying eastwards. Ooa^ ditions are therefore fiavourable for the development of a milder type of weather shortly. Forecast: Moderate to strotig northwest to westerly winds changing to southerlies within 24 hours.
