"SHOW BOAT" BACK ACAiN The music of ' ' Show Boat," composed by Jerome Kern, with lyrics by. Uscar Hammerstein II-> has gained such popularity that all the original numbers were retained in Universal's 1936 screen version of the Edna Ferber classic, which returns to the State Theatre to-morrow. The hit numbers of the play lncluae "Make Believe" and "Why Do I Love You?" duets rendered by Irene Dunne ! and Allan Jones. Helen Morgan does • two numbers that she has made famous, "Bill" and "Can't Help Lovin' That j Man " Other songs are "Old Fashion- j ed Wife," "Cotton Blossom," "After j the Ball" by Charles K. Harris, and "Goodbye, My Lady Love," by Josopli Howard. Paul Robeson, the world-re-nowned baritone, sings ' ' Old Man River" and a new offering, "Ah Still Suits Me. " • A new duet number, ' ' I Have the Room Above Her," is presented by Irene Dunne and Allan Jones. Miss Dunne also has a sprightly tune called "Gallivantin' Around." One of the special features of the production ig a chorus of 200 voices that weave a spell with unusual rhythmic tone patterns. Last Time To-night To-night is the last chance of seeing "Without Orders," starring Robert Armstrong, and "Nobody's Fool," with Ed. Everett Horton.
