LATE MR W. FORSYTH

Referenee to the recent death of Mr. Walter -Forsyth, of Napier, was made by the president of the Maraenui Golf Club, Mr. John Mason, at the annual general meeting last night, when the club decided to send a letter of sympathy to Mrs. Forsyth and her family. "The late Mr. Forsyth, who was a foundation member of our elub, was a keen golfer and a very likeable man," said Mr. Mason. "In his death I feel that this club lias suffered a great loss. I feel sure that we all send out our deepest sympathy to his widow and family." Memberg present at the meeting numbering nearly 100, stood in siience as a mark of respeet to the deesased.
