Articles Secured for Coming Bazaar

WAIPAWA, March 10. There was an exceptionally good attendance at tho Methodist men's social, held in the Methodist Chureh last evening. The objeet of the evening wae to gatlier ai'ticles to be sold on the men's stall at the forthcoming bazaar and .sale of work. Admission to tho social was by the bringing of a small saleable article for the stall. The evening passed very pleasantly and quickly with a'll manner of games, everyone entering into the fian with a will, the Rev. Jones making an efficient M.C. A delicious and decidedly novel -supper, consisting of sausages, potatoes and Cornish pasties, was later served ' by the hosts for the evening, and proved one of the most popular items of the evening. During the pauses between the games vocal solos were rendered by Messrs. J. Barker and R. Townsend, Mr. S. Bott accompanying them on the organ. Subsequent to the supper, the many parcels were unwrapped and disclosed many attractive saleable articles, after which Mr., Jones thanked the company for their attendance and invited them to attend the bazaar and sale of work. The singing of Auld Lang Syne coneluded a verjr jolly evening.
