Leon Degrelle'a challenge to an electoral dueL M. Degrelle, who is the leader of the Fascist Bexist Party, last week ordered a Eexist deputy for one of the Brussels constituencies to resign, simultan-
eously announcing that he himself would contest the by-election, thereby challenging the Government to a trial of Btrength between their policy and his. A crowded Chamber eheered M. van Zeeland 's annonncement that he would oppose M. Degrelle personally, "for the sake of democracy and Parliamentary Government." The by-election will be held in April and is likely to be one of the fiercest in Belgian history.
