Havelock North Club ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual general meeting of the Havelock North Football Cluo was held on Friday last at the Town Board Hall. There was a large and enthusiastio attendance. The balance-sheet showed a very satisfactory position and was adopted with the annual report, which stated that all grades had creditably acquitted themselves during the past season. Representative honours were achieved by F. Fergusson, C. Joll, R. Joll and F. Russell for the seniors, and in the junior division Tayior represented Hawke's Bay. Had the seniors kept up their standard of play in the second round they might possibly have been' runners-up for the championship. The eleetion of officers resulted as follows. — PaSon, Mr John Ghambers; president, Mr H. Upchureh; vice-presi-dents, Messrs E. F... Leicester, W. Bell, Toogood, E. J. Wall, J. Heffernan, snr., A. Toop, Sir James Steel Maitland, Mr Buehanan; honorary doctor, Dr. W. Reeve; delegales, Messrs E. J. Wall aud J. Heffernan; secretary and treasurer, Mr G. J. Duigan; club captain, Mr G. Hook; pianagement committee, Messrs Wall, Heffernan, Liley, Bremford, Leicester; honorary auditor, Mr J. Bremford. It was decided to request all players to assemble on the Domam at 7.30 p.m. on Friday next to arrange teams to travel to Omakere and Te Aute. It was also stated that there are still vacancies in all grades for new players. A hearty vote of thanks was accord.ed to all retiring officers and the public for their generous suppoTt.
