A GOLFING COURTESY

Visitors to England in May Mr G. O. Sutton, eecretary of the 1 New Zealand Golf Association, has received a letter from Major Lavarack, M.C., seeretary of the English Golf Union, advising that his executive is recommending all their affiliated clubs to extend the courtesy of the green to all members of the Empire golf clubs during the month of May. The seeretary of the English Golf Union euggests that members proceeding to England should furnish themselves with a letter of introduction from their club or from the New Zealand Golf Association, and states that if visitors apply to him upon arrival he will be pleased to supply a list of the clubs by which thie courtesy will be extended, and also that he will place himself entirely at the disposal of any of our members desiring help in any way.
