RAILWAY EXCURSIONS
Trains to and From Napier Ideal weather preyailed on Saturday for 400 railway excursionists who came to Napier from Dannevirke and the surrounding district. .The large majorxty of the visitors spent the day on the Parade and Westchor© beaehes, where a cairn sea made swimming most pleasant. Tliree hundred and fifty people from Hastings and Napier went to Wellington during the week-end by a special train which left Napier at 11 o'clock on Saturday night and returned to Napier at 12.45 o'clock this morning. The Railway Department is arranging an excursion from Wanganui to Napier for Sunday next, and tliere will be a number more from various parts of the North Island before the summer season ends.
