Waipawa Team Wins Bowling Competition A FINE PERFORMANCE Waipawa won the champion pairs on the Kia Toa green on Saturday, winning the eight games played — a very fine performanee. In the final round Hastings and Havelock North were lying next with two defeats. Hastings had little difiiculty in defeating Heretaunga, but Omarunui had a win over Havelock North and this victory gave Hastings second honours, Waipawa mean while accounting for Wairere. At the close of play Mr F. Logan, president of the Centre, presented the prizos, congratulating the two teams upon the fine performances established.
