"OUBLIC NOTICE11 is hereby giveD that at a Speeial Meeting of the Hastings Borough Council held on Thursday, 11th Eebruary, 3937, the following resolution was passed: — "THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers ai\d authorities conferred on it by Section 156 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933," the Hastings Borough Council hereby resolves, by way of Speeial Order, as follows: — (a) THAT the Council sell to the Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board at the price of Three Hundred and fifty pounds (£350) that piece of land situate in Eastbourne Street, Hastings, containing Twenty and eighty-nine one-hundredths (20 89-100) perches being part of Lots 158 -and 159 on Deeds Plan 83 and all the land comprised in Certificate of Title H.B. Volume 95 folio 156 (Hawke's Bay Registry). , (b) THAT the Council surrender to the said Power Board a portion of the Right-of-way at present used by the Borough Council and leading from Eastbourne Street to the rear of the Hastings Municipal Theatre, the portion to be surrendered being a strip Six (6) feet wide and adjoining the land described in fhe above cnentioned Certificate of Title. (c) THAT the Council grant to the said Power Board a permanent Right-of-way over a strip of land twelve (12) feet wide situated at the rear of the Hastings Municipal Theatre and being part of Lot 152 on Deeds Plan 83.
