The story of this pietura is laid in a sleepy little Alabama towm A wandering trio of promoters, Misg Drake, Edward Ellis and Clark Wil/ liams, arrive in town -for the pnrposs of setting up a temporary roller skati ing rink. They run afoul of a gang of crooked relatives of a crooked poli tician and a murder results. The crooks try to pin the guilt on one of the promoters and then the thrills be^ gin. Through it all runs one of thi most beautiful love stories of the age, The famous Chinatown Squad of 8an Prancisco police department plays a prominent .part in ' ' Chinatown Squad," the TJniversal drama also at the Municipal Theatre, with. a cast headed by Lyle Talbot and Yalerig Hobson. A murder is coiumitted in a Chinese cafe, and the story concerm the solution of the mysterious crime.
