Thomson |(Canterbury) was far superior to otherj fcontestants and won both with appar-" #nt ease. In the Italian pursuit championship] jCanterbury, Wellington and Auckland pntered teams. During the afternoon jCanterbury defeated Wellington but Idid not contest witih Auckland.
