,Miss Joyce Anderton, one of the popular members of the Otane younger set who has left for Taihape, where her marriage takes place later, was the geust of bonour at a white evening held at Mrs Harland's homestead, Round Hall, Otane. There were many friends present. The evening passed only too quickly with games and competitions, the winners of each receiving a prize. Miss Anderton was called upon to open her many parcels after which, in a neat speech, she thanked all present for a most enjoyable evening. 3
