TRENTHAM, This day. Service matches ate being fired at the National Rifle Association's meeting at Trentham to-'Eay and, by shootmg late, it_is hoped to complete the aervice championship this afternooa. A fresh wesferly wind blew across the range and, although it increased in veloeity as the morning advanced„ there were some good scores. The first Service Match, which called for five rounds applicafion -and ten rounds snap shooting each at 300 yards, was won by W. N. Masefield (Blenheim) wfth 67 out of a possible 75. E. M. Wrigley (Opaki), also with 67, took second prize, and F. S. Hood (Featherston), with 66, was tliircL
