MASTERTON, Last Night. The belief that he has perfected a spray to eombat blackberry is held by a Masterton resident, Mr Henry Savage, who has been working on his patent at intervals over a number of years. Mr Savage has carried Out experiments to his gatisfaebion , about Masterton and Wanganui and has demonstrated his find before an inspector of the Department of Agriculture at Masterton with a view to receiving the grant of £10', 000 which the Government for a great many year® has offered to the person who can find a means of destroying and permanently preventing the growth of blackberry .
