Notice of Exercise of Powers PETROL PUMP LiCENSES The first indication that the Government intends to exercise the powers given it under the Industrial Effieiency Act, 1936, as regards the*licensing of retail petrol is afforded by the announcement of the Bureau of Industry, Wellington, calling for objections against the granting of 12 licenses in tho Hawke's Bay district. The applications include those for the erection of new pumps, the transfer of a pump from one place to another, for a new station in the course of erection, and for additional pumps. Any person who considers that he wiU be msterially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respeet of any of these 12 applications may make representations to the Bureau before March 25 nest.
