MUNICIPAL THEATRE.
TWO OF THE BEST "Transient Lady " sereens again at the Municipal Theatre 'to-night. Gene Raymond, Henry Hull, Francees Drake and June Clayworth are seen in the featured roles. The story of this picture is laid in a sleepy little Alabama town. A wandering trio of promoters, Miss Drake, Edward Ellis and Clark Williams, arrive in towh for the purpose of setting up a temporary roller skating rink. They run afoul of a gang of crooked relatives of a crooked politician and a murder results. The c-rooks try to pin the guilt on one of the promoters and then the thrills begin. Through it all runs one of the most beautiful love stories of the age. The famous Chinatown Squad of San Francisco police Jepartment plays a prominent part in "Chinatown Squad," the Universal drama also at the Municipal Theatre, with a cast headed by Lyle Talbot and Valerie Hobson. A murder is committed in a Chinese cafe, and the story concerns the solution of the mysterious crime.
