POLO TOURNAMENT
Hastings Play Next Week Great interest is boing shown in the Yankee polo tournament to be held next week on tlie Hastings llacecourse. Play will commence ©ach day, starting from Monday, at 2 p.m., and the public of Hastings will have ample opportunity of witnessing this thriUing game. There are 13 teams competing, and on Thursday afternoon a special attraction will be the game between Hawke's Bay and Rangitikei, who are old Savile Oup rivals. On Saturday afternoon5 starting at 2 p.m. a grand gymkhana will be held on the racecourse, including two races for polo ponies. Admission charges are very reasonabl© and the club has arranged to have a loud speaker installed on tlie ground so that a running commentary of tho games may be given.
