Harvest Thanhsgiving iservices will be conducted by Major Atherfold" in the Saivation Army Hall to-morrow. In addition to the usual moming and ©vining meeting, a special Harvest Home gathering will be held in the afternoon. The harvest festival will conclude on Monday evening, when a musical programme will be given by the band and songsters and the sale of produce will take place. The collection at all Anglican «erviceS to-morrow will be for the Church cf England Children 's Homes at Otane and Waipawa. At St. Matthew's Church thero will be Holy Communion at 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., and owing to tho indisposition of the Eev. K. Liggett it haa been necessary to rearrange th© Sunday plans. The Vicar will tako thc children 's service at 10 a.m. and tho Holy Communion at St. Barnabas, Parkvale, at 11 a.m. The Sunday School and prize-giving at Mahora will be at 2.30 p.m. The baptisma at St. Matthew 's must be postponed till 3.30 p.m. There will be no evening scrvi*e at St. Barnabas, Parkvale. Captain feutcliffe will preach at Mahora dt 7 p.m. Tne Vicar will take the service ana preach at St. Matthew 's Church at 7 p.m. There will be an opportunity after service in the Parish Hall to Bay "goodbye" to him and to Mr, Mrs and Miss Harper. The services in tbe Havelock North Presbyterian Church will bo conducted by the minister, the Rev. R. Waugli, in the morning and evening in Havelock and afternoon at Poukawa. Services to inspire and encourage will be held in the Baptist Church to-mor-row, when the commencemenf of Loyalty Month will be observed. Th© morning subject is "We must obey God," while in the evening a straight-forward talk on "The Grip of Conlscience" will be delivered. The preacher is the Rev. C. B. Boggis. Communion is to be held at the close of the morning service. Full attendances are requested, and everyone is invited to bring a friend Tho subject of the addrcss in the United Hall to-morrow night will be "Armageddon, the beginning of tho Wai* of the Great Day of God Almighty." All interested are welcome and opportunity for questions afforded. The Irish Evangelist, Mr R. G. Nairn, will hold the last Gospel meeting of this series in Nelson Street Hall on Sunday night. A good interest has been aroused in the meetings, and his subject., "The Disease and the Cure," is of vital interest to all. The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be observed at the morning service in St. Audrew's Church to-morrow and at the close of the evening service. The subject of the address in the evening is "Can God be Lcl't Out of the Beckoning in thc Early Part crf Life." Relay service at St. Jolm's Hall at 7 p.m. Retiring olfertories at all services for benevolent fund. The singing of the grand sacred canlata, "The Rolling Seasons," will bo a feature of the evening service to-mor-row in the Hastings Methodist Church. The day is being observed as Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday and the morning service will be conducted by the Rev. R. B. Gosnell, wliose subject is "Harvest Field Lessons." The anthem will be "Yet Shall Dwell in the Lord," and a duct will be rendered by Misses Steele and Symonds. Harvest gifts may be left at the church this evening.
