Mrs Taylor, Waipukurau, and' Mrs Henderson, Wellington, ,are tlie guests of Mrs F. L. Bartnell for the croquet tournament at New Plymouth. Miss Molly Smith has returned to Patutahi after visiting Eskdale and Taupo. Mr and Mrs S. Lyons, Poverty Bay, are visiting relatives in Hawke's Bay. Mr rj mi Mrs G. V. Anderson, of Patutain, with their little son and daughter, are spending a, short holiday at the motor camp at Westshore, Napier. Miss Joan Mills, of Maungapapa is the guest of Mrs A. E. Habgood, North Clyde, Wairoa. Mr and Mrs Brelgan, who Ifave been the guests of Mrs A. E. Habgood, North Clyde, have left for Gisborne where they will reside in future. The Mayor of Wairoa, Mr H. L. Harker, left to-day to attend th© Municipal Conference at Timaru. Mr and Mrs W. Magee, of Wellington, have been visiting Wairoa dunng the last few days on .a motor tour of the North Island. The Venerable Archdeacon Buttcriield has left Waiora for Woodville to make arrangements for a successor to the Rev. Mr Davidson, who resigned from the position of Vicar recently. Rev. Mr. Larsen and Mrs Larsen, of Westport, and party, visited Morere Hot Springa on Friday.
