COMEDY AND DRAMA Uncontrollable merriment — born of an hilarious mixture of comic advonture and side-splitting situations, characterises the new George Formby and Florence Desmond offering, "Keep Your Seats, Please," which is scheduled for the Cosy Theatre to-morrow. George Formy is seen as George Withers, who contorts his unhappy, but finally successful way through a sustained search for one of a set of chairs which holds a fortune. Unfortunately for George, the chairs have been auctioned oif to separate purchasers — thus, he spenrs his whole time looking for the chair. He has a rascally partner, and, further, is persecuted by au unscrupulous lawyer— also seeking the chair. But no description of the story could begin to eonvey the riotous laughter ereatod by situation after situation. "Love Letters of a Star," the Universal inystery which also screens at the Cosy, is based on a Cosmopolitan jnagazine novel by Eufus King. Tbe film, featuring Henry Hunter, Polly Rowles, C. Henry Gordon, Walter Cpy and Herbert Cavanaugh, sets forth the strange mystery which surrounds tlie death of a blackmailer who threatens the permanent happiness of an entire family. The unusual manner of the man's passing, the exciting developments aboard a yacht and the detective 's brilliant solution of the puzzle follow the gripping situations presented in the novel. Finally To-night "The Princess Cornes Aeross," starring Fred McMurray and Carole Lom bard, concludes at the Cosy to-night.
