Greenmeadows Meeting The annual meeting of the Greenmeadows Women 's Institute was held on Tuesday afternoon, there being a very full attendance. Mrs Scott presided, and Mrs Sutherland, secretary and treasurer, read a full report of Ihe year's activities. All expressed their appreciation of the work of these active ladies. Appreciation was also felt for the good fxnancial position of the Institute. The various circle leaders then gave their reportB, after which these fiva ladies received a bouquet from the gardening circle. The winners of competitions for the year wero as follow:— ■ Handicraft: Mrs Single J, M.ra Evans 2, Mrs R. Wright 3. Gardening: Mrs Goodal 1, Mrs P. McGormack 2. Mrs Ormond received a bpeelal prizo. Officers elected for the comlng year were: President, Mrs E, Martin; secretary, Mrs H. Sutherland; librarian, Mrs Single; Press recorder, Mrs B. H. Turton. A special prize is to be presented next month by Mrs McAulay for the member who can write out the most accurate account of early Greenmeadows history. Entries are to be left with the judges, Mrs McAuley or Mrs Armstrong, before March 16. An instructivo demonstration of rugmaking was given by Mrs Martin, who was given a hearty vote of thaftks. Hostesses for' the afternoon were Mesdames Logan, Armstrong and Kane.
