AUCKLAND, This Day. Auckland 's thirdWool sale opened with a catalogue of 22,000 bales. There was a full attendanca of buyers. The market was chiefly, dominated by Bradford and the Continent, Japan getting occasional lots. Values were about a halfpenny a pound above the Wanganui sale earlier in the week. An almost total clearance was effected. Among the high prices obtained for the first catalogue was 205d for scoured fleece, 19£d for Corriedale lambs, 19Jd for halfbred hoggets and 18id for halfbred fleece. Average fleece wool .realised' 153. There was a much larger offering ©Jj lambs' wool than ueual. There was good competition through* out. On the whole the sale was parti* cularly satisfaetory considering thei heavier condition of the wool and ihe increased quantity of Iseedy wooL The) increased price over last Auckland sale ranged from a halfpenny to. * penny a pound, The range of priceis is as follows:— i
