DOUBLE FATALITY
Plane Crashes on Long Island Lawn (Received 5, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 4. A pilot and a singie passeuger were killed when a rented plane crashed On a lawn at Patehogue (Long Island) in full view of hundreds of persons ie surrounding buildings and the nearby railway station. Witnesses heard the motor nussing and believe thc pilot attempted to land on the lawn.
