IMPERIAL CONFERENCE

May 14 Now The Probable Date BIG QUESTIONS FIRST (Received 5, 1.55 p.m.) LONDON, March 4. The Imperial Conference will now probably open on May 14, a few days earlier than was originally intended. The agienda is practically settled. It will enable Prime Ministers first to deal with the major questions dominating the conference — namely, the international situation and Imperial defence — leaving * leseer subjects to subcommittees. Aocordingly, Prime Ministers may be able to depart before fche conclusion of the conference, leaving their colleagues to carry on.
