"I have transformed my organism into an engine that is constantly supervised and controlled, which runs with absolute regularity," said Signor Benito Mussolini replying to a journalist who asked for the secret of his vitality and fitness. as 11 Duce, who is approaching 55, has not had a day's illness since 1925. He works an average of from 12 to 14 koura a day. Signor Mussolini disclosed that he does not Bmoke, drinks little wine, eats simple country dishes, devotes 30 to 40 minutes a day to physical exercises, sleeps seven to eight hours each nigjht, reads 70 books a year and fasts for 24 hourB on the first symptoms of any indisposition.
