Record Number of Passeneers Last Montli A TOTAL OF 438 Despite the fact that East Coast AirWays had one 'plane out of action last month owing to annual survey, a record was established, with an average of four passengers a trip being carried. The ZK-ADE made 104 trips and carried 438 passengers, an average of 4.2 passengers per trip, the highest since tha company commenced opera'tions. "lt is interesting to note,'7 stated an official of the company, that Cook Strait Airways, with their bigger and faster serviee, averaged o.nly 3.6 passengers per trip toT the quarter ended December lasti The good average of 3.S passengers per trip was realised by the company for January.
