Mr J. Miller, S.M., left Napier today for Taupo. He will return for the Napier session oi ihe Magistrate's Court on Monday. Lord Nuffield, aecompanied by his secretary, Mr. E. W. Hohbs, his representative, Mr. G. A. Lloyd, and Mr. O. J. B. Norwood, le'ft Wellington for the South Island last night. Mr M. McMiUan, accountant at the Wanganui branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative ' Distributihg Qompany, has been transferred on promotion to Wellington, where he is to beoome relieving accountant for the distriet offices. He has left Wanganui to take over h® new position. Mr C. O. Morse, Mayor of Napier, is as present in Timaru attending the annual conference of the New Zealand Hospital Boards' Association. Nest week he will attend the conference of the Municjpal Association of New Zealand, also to be held at Timaru. The Town Clerk of Napier, Mr F. R. Wattors, and Cr C. D. Cox will also attend, leaving Napier next Monday. Hastings will be represented by the Mayor, Mr G.\A. Maddison, and the TWn Clerk, Mr Noel C. Haarding.
