RED CROSS CLASSES
lnstructional cJasses, under the auspices of the Lled Gross Society, are to commenee on Tuesday next, March 9, at 7 p.m. iri the Hed Cross ltooms, Heretaunga St". VV, Hastings (next to Rolf Keys). Classes cover instruction in first aid and home nursing and are in charge "ot t'ully-qualified members of tlie medical and nursing' profession. Having gained the soOiety's certificate trainees can link up with the Red Cross vojuntary aid detachment • movement. which is firmly estahlished in the United Kinsrdom and other Dominions and is rapidly developing in New Zealand. This work not only provides a valuable auxiliary for service in emergeney but a happy atmosphere of social intercourse for tlie growing number in its ranks. 4
