Gannet Ciip Practice FURTHER PLAYERS CHOSEN The Hastings Cricket Slub-Associa-tion held its f ortnightly meetihg on Monday . night, when Mr. A. D. Mahoney presided over a -full attendance of delegates. Advice was received that arrangements were being made to allow the Hastings team to see the M.C.C. v. New Eealand game on Easter Saturday, and the Gannet Cup match against Wellington Colts would conclude on Easter Monday. . The Hastings selector (Mr. E. Mitchell) advised tliat Goodall, Drinkrow (Otane), Stephenson (Havelock) and Christison (Whakatu) had been added to the list of players for practice every Tuesday and Thursday night al Nelson Park. Attendance at practice will receive every eonsideration in the final seletcion of the Gannet Cup team. It was decided to approach the Esk Sub-Association on the possibilifcy oi playing home-and-away matehes with two Hastings elevens on Saturday, MaTch 20. . Arrangements for the annual presentation of prizes on Friday, April 9, wp-re left to Messrs. Arthur, Thomas and Ingram. .
