Given a rifle by a Ghhiese early in February of 1935, King Karena failed to obtain a flrearm permil, though just ; recently he did attempt to seeure a ■ licence. This led to his appcarance ! before Mr J. Miller, S.M., at the Hast«, mgs Magistrate's Court thi9 mormiig. He was charged witli being in posseswion of an nnlicericed firearnl, and with procuring a firearm without sccuring a permit. His Worslup fiiied t.lie flefcmlant 10/with £1 costs on ,the first charge and convicfcd and discharged him on the second.
