Flemington Results MELBOURNE, March 2. The weather was fine and there was a satisfactory attendance at the races at Flemington. Pennock had a surprise win in the Northcote and outstayed Dame Chatter. Le Baron led always in ' the Nursery and has had three wins and a second in the last seven starts. Birthday Boy improved on Saturday 's form to r.un fourth. Royal Quex was never dangerous. Bonny Roliux had a comfortable win in the Steeple and has had' three wins and a second in the last four; starts. Wakerife finished well and! Cape Lilock made the best effort to t date. Cape York was impressive in the Cup, Trial, the Autumn Handicap. Last in the early stages it finished brilliantly! to win in the last stride. Nortl Wind and Benthos pleased Cup admirers. Amalia was a disappointment and Greenhorn was last. Cuddle essayed to lead always in the, Plate but was no match for Golden; Promise in .the final stages. The rider,j Skidmore, had his third successive Win; in the race, and it was Trainer Holt's seventh success. Cleverson finished fast in the Bourke. It was the sixtlx win in the last seven starts.
