Four-Fold Loyalty From The Nation THANKS FOR KING'S GIFTS

(Received 1, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 28. The Bishop of Norwich has prepared . a form of prayer an.d intercession for use throughout the Empire duuring Coronation week. It woll also be used, cturing the day of prayer to be held at Queen's Hall on May 11. The prayer refers to "The disciples of Jesus Christ of every language under every sky who^re pleased and proud to acknowledge the sovereignty of the King Emperor in whon), the people of Britain and the Domimons find fellowship." It emphasises the four-fold loyalty involved in the coronatlon: First, to God; eecoudly to the King; thir.dly, to the country and Empirq; and fourthly to "our best selves as cMIdren of God." The prayer offers thanks for the courage, calmness and industry that steadied the nation in vtime of - shockstrain with which the King accepted his heavy task and for the King's interest in the welfare of toilers and all needing proteetion; for the peace and joy in the King's home, the simplicity of his life, his case and friendly happiness, his comradeship with the young, his habit of worship, love of duty and all th© gifts and graces granted him. It adds: "His Majesty represents the supreme centre of unity. He ie th« head of a growing family, every member of which is summoned to assume responBibility for the good of the family and God's glo'ry."
