AUCKLAND, Last Night. In neeordance with a wish expressed in his will the ashes of a former Mayor of Birkenhead, Mr E. G. Skeates, who died in London on OctobeT 23, 1935, were publicly seattered in the Civic Reserve at Birkenhead at the conclusion of a ceremony conducted by titi Kev. W. Gatman this evening.
