Men Members to Vote on Issue C0RRESP0NDENTS' VIEWS Th© question of admission of women members is now exercising the minds of the members of the Hastings Bowling Club. The executive has discussed the matter very exhaustively at various meetings, and it has been decided to leave the matter to the members themselvea to decide. A voting paper has been issued to §ach member, and he is called upon to answer oue of three issues as follow: — (1) That eroquet be reintroduce.d. (2) That lady bowling be introdnced. (3) That no ladies be admitted to the greena for any play, Tn« .voting papers. have .to be returned by the end of this week and a further meeting of the exeeutiva will be held to again diseuss the matter upon receipt .or the scrutineer ;s report. That considerabie interest is being taken in the matter is indicated by ihu response to the letter written by "Strolling" in last night 's issue of the Herald-Tribune, and below are a few examples of the replies that the Editor ixas received:. — |
