FAREWELL PARTY BEFORE TRIP TO ENGLAND

Miss Arny, Kennedy, who leaves Napier next Thursday on an extended trip to England, was the guest of honour at a very enjoyabl© bridge purty given by Miss Pasley and Miss E. Pasley at their hoxne in France roacl last Saturday afternoon. Tables were set in the draivmg room, where bowls of dahlias were attraetively arranged. A delicious tea was served. A number of ol'd friends took the opportunity of saying bon voyage to the guest of honour. ' Those present were: — Miss Pasley, Miss E. Pasley, Miss A. Kennedy, Mrs Arber, Mrs J. P. Cornford, Mrs Pill, Mrs Somerset-Smith, Mrs C. E. Morris, Misses Liethead (2), A. Williams, K. Dinwiddie, Keely and A. Twigg.
